Bass clarinet carries the vibrato-rich melody over an accompaniment of soprano clarinet, French horn, tuba, piano and drums. This period piece captures an essence of post-ragtime, early jazz, with its playfulness and harmonic uniqueness. Equally excellent for historical themes and modern comedy. Deliberately lo-fi / old sound.
