Delicate and tender, this beautiful track conveys a longing hopefulness with a slight melancholic tinge. Slow and graceful, this was the very first work in the 'Lyric Pieces' first book by Grieg who regarded it as one of his finest melodies. Classical composer: Edvard Grieg (1843 - 1907).
