What format is the final audio?

The standard format we provide audio files in is .wav mono 44.1kHz 16bit. However, we can supply it in most formats should this not be compatible with your telephone hardware. The audio files are delivered to you as a digital download.

Other common formats we get asked for are: -

  • mp3
  • 8kHz 16bit wav
  • CCITT u-Law
  • CCITT a-Law
  • GSM
  • ADPCM
  • PCM
  • Compressed wave

Most telephone systems can import one or all of these format types.
