What is the difference between your Standard License and Extended License?

The Standard License

Our standard license allows you to create projects containing our royalty free music covering many uses where the music forms part of the background audio i.e in online videos, online games, on-hold, presentations, viral advertising and much more. This is known as the Synchronisation part of music copyright.

In addition, our standard license allows you to make or sell up to 5000 physical duplications of your project i.e. Corporate DVD, Computer game for sale, e-learning course etc. This is known as the Mechanical element of music copyright.

The Extended License

Our extended license is primarily for making saleable duplications that will exceed 5000 units (physical or digital). This online option extends from ‘up to 125,000’ to ‘unlimited’.

At the point you are ready to download the music you will be presented with the option to extend the license or go with the standard one. This is illustrated below. The option you select alters the amount of credits required to download the track.
