Submitting Your Music
Please Read this Section Carefully. This is our procedure for considering new music for our Royalty Free Music library
Step 1 - Important Points to Consider
Your Copyrights
We can only work with you if you own / control ALL of your copyrights and can authorise us to sell direct licenses of your music for many media uses in accordance with our Music Maker Terms and Conditions.
Overview...
This is a non-exclusive agreement. We won’t own the rights to your music as we don’t want to stand in the way of you making money from your music.
You must own all the rights within the music or have the authority or permission from the owner(s). This is very important as we sell direct royalty free music licenses for a one-time fee that cover all royalties for most media uses (excluding conventional TV, Radio and Major Cinematic Film Release). Click here for a list of music uses.
We try to get the best price for your music whilst remaining competitive. See pricing policy We split any sales on a 50/50 basis (ex. vat)
Your music must be of high quality production and pass our assessment process.
Licensing for Conventional TV, Radio & Cinematic Film Release
A client can license music to cover conventional TV, Radio and Major Cinematic Film release, however, for these uses we only cover mechanical and synchronisation rights. The broadcaster is obliged to contact us for additional information regarding performance royalties.
In the case of a major cinematic film release, we will try to negotiate a higher synchronisation fee for the music license.
In such cases, any performance royalties are paid by your collecting society and are nothing to do with Media Music Now and as such, we do not expect or request any percentage of such additional income streams.
Inclusion to the library
We reserve the right to host / promote all or some of your music depending on what we feel is relevant or saleable at that time. We may change, add, remove or re-categorise the display of your music at any time to include or remove certain tracks.
You can check which tracks we are hosting anytime by checking your profile.
Finally...
If you are happy with the information so far please proceed. If you require more indepth study, please jump ahead to the Music Maker T&C's Page.
If in any doubt to the copyright status of your music or our T&C's, please seek independent legal advice before proceeding.
