The man who calls himself Schmange is quickly becoming an international commodity. He began his career playing guitar for three years in the band Essex. Now he's out on his own...writing and recording wild guitar driven techno pop and teaching his techniques to others. This man already has offices in Canada and England...and more are probably on the way. Phase IV Chronicles is a mind-blowing double CD set featuring an impressive collection of 31 compositions. The tunes go all over the place...but the one constant is the incredible guitar playing. Listening to this double album, it's no wonder that so many people are looking to Schmange for guidance. Free flowing and upbeat, these tracks are as slick and professional as anything we've heard on any label...independent or major... As a word of warning, however, this is a lot of material to take in at one sitting...so be forewarned. Extremely well orchestrated. (Rating: 5)

Phase IV has a handful of compositions worthy of booty shaking and head banging.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...
VOCAL What an amazing vocal, deep, rich timbre. The tones are similar to Simple Minds with a boost to the vocals on the dark side.
Addition of female vocals that are as powerful as male vocals.
Drums: Are those real? They are to the point of perfection.
Arrangement: Clean, dynamic, arranged like a well written story with intrigue, interest, surprises and well rounded characters. Catapulted into another dimension, or at least a movie set. Very nice bass line keeping this funky groove. This is a smart tune. Tasteful pockets of sound and of space. Production that shouldn't be touched.
WOW!...that was incredible, I can't believe I'm hearing this on garageband, you should be with a record label. Good mood! Goooood beats. I loved the break beats that you used, and how they over lapped. It sounded like someone was mixing throughout the song. And the guitar at the end was bad ass. How did you get such a real sound, was it a sample or, someone playing live, or did a program create it? Unbelieveable. you get a 5!
