About Chris

Christopher Page was born in London, England. Having completed composition, orchestration and piano performance studies at The Royal Academy of Music, The Guildhall School of Music and The Royal Military School of Music from 1964-1971, he went on to begin a professional career in England as a Music Director for theatre and a BBC Recording Artist.

In 1975, after a period of world travel as a music director on Chandris cruise lines he moved to Dallas, Texas where he held his first studio post for 3 years as a staff commercial composer & arranger with Tom Merriman & Conner Productions.

In 1979, he moved to Los Angeles, teamed up with Dick De Benedictis and began composing and performing with sound design for Feature Films - Witness, Karate Kid,

The Arrival, many TV Series including, Columbo, Diagnosis Murder, Matlock, Perry Mason, plus USA Commercials, National Dealer meetings & Documentaries.

Christopher was among the first to begin using “Sampling” technology in 1982 beginning with the “Emulator 1” and has received many corporate industrial awards and high profile credits for composition and sound design since that time.

In 1996, he started his own audio company “Audio Adventures Inc” and began introducing new ideas for dramatic interactive music products, designed to support composers for the professional film market. “Symphonic & Percussive Adventures” Percussive Adventures was awarded Keyboard Magazines’s prestigious KEY BUY AWARD and both products have received maximum ratings with reviews in all leading international magazines.

Throughout his career, Christopher has worked with many major studios in Los Angeles and affiliated with many established composers & sound designers including: Maurice Jarre, Bill Conti, Dick De benedictis, Mike Post & Pete Carpenter, Dennis Mackay, John Davis, Arthur Kempel, Artie Kane, John Debney, James Di Pasquale, Nan Schwartz, Miles Goodman, Dennis McCarthy, Pete Myers, Ira Newborn, Harvey Mason, David Hentschel, Arne Schulze, David Goldblatt, Michael Garson, Steve Taviglione, Kim Edmundson, Jorge Patrono & Scott Roewe.
