Who’s Dr. Goodvibe?… Well, it is not a person, but the name of the track for today’s royalty free music review. It has a cool jazz vibe with a smooth lounge feel and laid back attitude. There is also an air of mystery and intrigue about it, but with a sense of humour.
Personally, it reminds me of the Pink Panther theme. I get a strong image of it being used as a soundtrack to a 1950′s or 60′s detective theme, possibly with a comic character in it, similar to Inspector Clouseau in ‘The Pink Panther’.
A scene set in a smoky jazz club during an investigation into the club owner’s criminal activities or tailing a suspect undetected in the shadows of the big city streets.
These are just the images that this track conjures for me, but if your audio-visual production requires a hip, laidback and cool jazz background, then this distinctive jazz sound could be the perfect choice for your project.
