What is a Cue Sheet?

Cue sheets are used by TV and Radio broadcasters to report usage of music to the numerous performance royalty collecting societies around the world.

The information is supplied to the collecting societies and collated with other statistical data to calculate the royalty payments that are due to composers who are members of the society.       

Here is a sample cue sheet to give an idea of the type of usage information required.
