Tim Burke
Tim Burke is a versatile and imaginative composer of original music for a variety of media, including scores for film, television, radio and live theatre, as well as music for TV and online internet advertisements and applications. He specialises in orchestral music, crafting foot-tapping dances: waltzes, marches, polkas, sometimes with a Greek or Eastern European flavour and melancholy, sometimes macabre or demonic, evoking a cabaret or burlesque. He also writes electronic music, based on the sounds of vintage analogue synthesisers.
Tim can put together a group of expert live musicians at short notice and create a unique and captivating musical character or landscape, tailored to almost any purpose - he can also combine electronic and live/orchestral elements to make a many-coloured cloth of amazing sounds, timbres and textures.
He can also write string arrangements, and orchestrate for any genre or pop, classical or jazz.
