Danielle has an MA (Hons) in Composing for Film & TV and has also released an album of chillout music - Selkie.
In her own words... “I love the challenge of writing music to touch other people. Music is a source of emotion in film and television; often in obvious places of dramatic intensity but also in subtle places, encouraging viewers to connect and find meaning in any genre. Stylistically, I write a wide range of music, but I am particularly inspired by the uplifting sounds of chillout and electronica, and enjoy combining these styles with live instrumental recordings. I am passionate about travelling and hearing music from around the world, and often weave rhythms and instrumental melodies from other countries into my music. I play Celtic harp and also enjoy composing traditional Folk tunes”.
